The Academy Windows 7 Boot Camp is the most effective, efficient way to learn how to successfully  plan, configure and implement an information worker solution using Windows 7. Prerequisites:



 Candidates should have at least one year of experience in the IT field, as well as experience implementing and administering any Windows client operating system in a networked environment.

Installing, Upgrading, and Migrating to Windows 7 (14 percent)

  • Perform a clean installation.
    • This objective may include but is not limited to: identifying hardware requirements; setting up as the sole operating system; setting up as dual boot; installation methods; boot from the source of installation, preparing the installation source: USB, CD, network share, WDS
  • Upgrade to Windows 7 from previous versions of Windows.

Configuring Backup and Recovery Options (11 percent)
  • Configure backup.
    • This objective may include but is not limited to: creating a system recovery disk; backing up files, folders, or full system; scheduling backups
  • Configure system recovery options.
    • This objective may include but is not limited to: configuring system restore points; restoring system settings; last known good configuration; complete restore; driver rollback
  • Configure file recovery options.
    • This objective may include but is not limited to: configuring file restore points; restoring previous versions of files and folders; restoring damaged or deleted files by using shadow copies; restore user profiles

  • All Exams are delivered at the Training Center, which is an authorized Prometric Testing Center. We will provide a large number of testing stations dedicated to the bootcamp . A test administrator will be available throughout the day to register you for the tests.

    You will receive up to 2 exam vouchers. No additional payment is necessary for the vouchers. The vouchers must be used during the WIndows 7 Configuration bootcamp itself and will expire at the end of the bootcamp . Having the extra vouchers at no cost can make all the difference. It makes you more confident and aggressive in test-taking because you are not losing money if you don't pass on your first attempt.

 

We have an aggressive educational class schedule that thoroughly covers all essential elements necessary to become Microsoft certified.

Academy Code of Honor
