NEW Virtualization Professional Program approved by South Florida Workforce and Workforce Alliance!
Miami, Florida, January 26,
2010 - The Academy achieved a milestone, "Unheard of
in Florida's IT training industry - to receive approval by South Florida
Workforce and Workforce Alliance to provide Authorized VMWARE curriculum within
its Virtualization Professional Program (VPP). The Academy of South Florida is
the only vendor statewide that may offer authorized VMWARE curriculum to
the public under the Commission for Independent Education. Additionally,
The Academy of South Florida is the only approved Workforce vendor that would be
allowed to offer VMWARE curriculum.
Andy M. Perez, CFO
, The Academy commented - "this is a major achievement by Management
within The Academy. This achievement reveals that The Academy
truly stays on pace with the ever changing world of Technology. The
Virtualization Professional Program will be a perfect complement to what is
reflecting within the Corporate environment in South Florida. Companies are
spending less on Hardware and more on Virtualization. This will provide less
costs on hardware purchases and energy consumption. One might say that The
Academy is truly focused on Greening the IT marketplace!"
According to Christopher
Perez, Director of Education, "the Virtualization
Professional Program was just the "FIRST STEP"to The Academy's job
tailored IT Programs. Furthermore, The Academy is currently the only
approved Microsoft Gold Partner to offer Server 2008, including Microsoft's very
own virtualization answer : Hyper-V to the public."
The Academy uses authorized VMWARE and Microsoft Official Curriculum
(MOC) to ensure that students walk away with real hands-on knowledge and
know-how that the industry demands. With the experience of The Academy's
instructors from the classroom and the real-world, there simply isn't a better
program for an IT professional to attend to increase his/her value in the market
place!
"At the Academy, we believe that all students deserves MORE than just an
outdated MCSE certificate. We believe that we owe our students a tremendous
learning experience. That is all that our students need to focus on; we take
care of the rest". Added - Christopher M. Perez,
